In the course of the work, a multiplier-mixing module was developed that provides the construction of an X-band local oscillator based on a digital synthesizer (DDS).The developed module significantly reduces the number and level of side spectral components in comparison with the direct multiplication of the synthesizer frequency. Also, subsequent refinement made it possible to attenuate the detected undesirable components of the output signal.
The results of the phase noise study exceeded expectations based on an indirect estimate. The obtained values are not worse than -114 dBc at a detuning of 1 kHz
