February 23 is a holiday of courage, readiness to go only forward - to victory for the Fatherland and for our relatives and friends. On this day, it is customary to remember the officers and soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, who defended the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of our state with weapons in their hands. Unfortunately, every year there are fewer and fewer former participants of that military tragedy.Employees of JSC "ALEVKURP" on February 23 visited and congratulated the participant of the Great Patriotic War Stefan Yakovlevich Koltunchik, who fought on the 1st Belorussian Front. During the war, Stefan Yakovlevich served as a machine gunner, took part in the liberation of Belarus and Poland. He was awarded two Orders of the Patriotic War, 1st and 2nd class, and the medal "For Military Merit" for his bravery, steadfastness and courage in battle. But even after more than 75 years have passed since the date of the end of that war, the memories of the participant about those inhuman sufferings and torments cause a surge of emotions.
A wheelchair was given as a valuable gift from JSC "ALEVKURP", with the help of which Stefan Yakovlevich will be able to move not only around the apartment, but also take walks in the open air.
